I bought my tank second hand, it came with a pump/filter, air pump, light tube housing, stand gravel and ornaments for about $100 from the trading post/weekend shopper.
For food I bought Hikari Cichlid Gold and Sera Raffy P.
I also bought some fish, 25 Feeder Fish, 5 Crayfish and 1 Catfish to start the eco process.
Before you can by the turtles you need a license which you can buy online or send in forms, here is the link to the online bit-https://www.epa.qld.gov.au/rwl/faces/jsp/login.jsp and here's the one to the downloadable form-https://www.epa.qld.gov.au/publications/p01021.html. The license cost $60.50 and I got a 50 Page record book for $17 YOU MUST HAVE A RECORD BOOK AND LICENSE TO BUY YOUR TURTLES!!!!
I bought my turtles from a wholesaler who sold them to me for $40.
They are really fun and enjoyable pets. I take my out into the backyard so they can have a run around every once and a while BUT STAY WITH THEM AT ALL TIMES THEY ARE FAST AND BIRDS WILL TRY TO EAT THEM!!
So there is most of the info and if you need more contact your nearest turtle selling pet shop.
